We Rally with One Small Idea
In times of crisis, our communities have the unique ability to come together in ways that remind us of the strength we hold when we unite for a cause. Today, as Hurricane Helene devastates regions, leaving homes destroyed, lives uprooted, and futures uncertain, it’s time for us to step forward with open hearts and hands ready to help.
The destruction left in Hurricane Helene’s wake is staggering. Communities are facing flooding, power outages, displacement, and the emotional toll of seeing their homes and neighborhoods in ruins. Relief organizations are working tirelessly and we know the road ahead is incredibly long.
As we send our donations, whether large or small, we are sending more than just resources—we are sending hope. We are sending a message to those impacted that they are not alone, that we stand with them, and that together we will rebuild, recover, and emerge stronger than ever.
Together we are stronger than the storm itself.
Our relief efforts are focused on contributing directly to the local organizations making an impact right here, where it matters most. By supporting these grassroots initiatives, we can ensure that help reaches those who need it the most, as quickly and efficiently as possible. We are proud to be donating to the following local groups:
-
Mana FoodBank: This incredible organization has been on the front lines, providing essential food and supplies to displaced families. Your donations will help keep their shelves stocked and ready to support the many people in need of food security as they navigate this difficult time.
-
Beloved Asheville: Known for its deep commitment to our community, Beloved Asheville is working tirelessly to support marginalized and vulnerable groups affected by Hurricane Helene. From housing assistance to delivering essentials, your contributions help Beloved Asheville continue its mission to care for our neighbors.
-
Brother Wolf Dog Shelter: Brother Wolf Animal Rescue’s mission is to better the lives of companion animals and the people who love them. Through adoption and pet retention programs, a low-cost mobile spay and neuter clinic, lifesaving shelter transfer partnerships and extensive volunteer and foster networks, Brother Wolf Animal Rescue impacts the lives of thousands of animals each year.
It took time for me to process all that is happening around us. And as I sat in bed one evening, I was trying to think of the best way to help. I took this little ornament from Pepperberry and decided it was to be the catalyst. As of today, our donations are close to 8K. We could not have done this without you. We have rallied together for Hurricane Helene relief, we want to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who has already contributed. It truly takes a village, and you’ve proven that ours is strong, compassionate, and ready to help in any way we can. This is truly unbelievable. It makes my heart full as tears stream down my face.
Last evening I was speaking with the designer and she is going to donate 50% of the sales of these canvases. As such, we will continue to sell these canvases through Monday, October 7th as part of the efforts to raise money for Hurricane Helene.
Once again, thank you from the deepest part of my being. I am so honored to be a part of an amazing community. xoxox
