Holbein Sunglasses Case Canvas Blue JS-201A

Based on Holbein carpets of the 16th century, this sunglasses case combines motifs that emulate the richness of these early textiles.  This ‘chain link’ pattern was often seen in the outer borders of Holbein carpets. Instead of the warm, natural colors of the original carpets, I switched this version to bright blues and greens!

This canvas is stitch printed in the US by Pixels on Cotton, using archival ink in a patent-pending process that achieves a perfectly clear pattern for stitching.  On 100% cotton Zweigart mono deluxe canvas.
