A little about Me

A little about Me

When I bought this business, I had no clue as to what I was doing. In reality, I had no business buying such a niche business. I knew business as whole just not what I was going to be selling. Crazy, insane and ready to be institutionalized to be honest. I can only imagine what others were thinking.

Mind you, I had a creative side that had been sitting idle for a very long time. As a child, I painted and drew, I sewed and learned to hook a rug with my amazing grandmother. (You will find a couple of her pieces hanging in the store.)  I knew color and design but I never thought, dreamed or even sparked an interest in the NeedleArt industry. Seriously.

But through some heavy duty conversations and a leap of faith - I went head first into this business never looking back. I have given it everything I have - heart and soul. And I love it.

When I open the doors in the morning and turn on the lights I am basked in the rays  of many different colors and fibers. The hues of blue, orange and green are there to great me. I get to feel and play with texture and let my mind think of the many ways I can bring something to life.

I look around at the canvases and imagine what they will look like done. I see a ball of yarn and dream of the coziness that could keep my shoulders warm.

And then I see you. You have come in tow, with a piece that you need threads for or are in search of a project big or small, new or advanced - its all so much fun.  I enjoy seeing you and hearing your journeys.

I truly love what I do. I have learned so much and learn something new each day. I am so incredibly lucky. I look forward to what tomorrow might bring.....xoxoxo

Just a few of the pieces I have done over the past 5 years....
